History behind Sheepnet!
Sheepnet started as a sort of a joke, really, back in July/August 1999. I made it for two young sheepaholics, Pete & Tom, and was going to keep it as just a private little site, but then one of my friends persuaded me to let the world see it, so I submitted it to .NET, a UK internet magazine, where it was featured as a "quick hit", and also to Practical Internet, where it got third place. Then the submissions to search engines started. One day whilst seeing where the site was linked from, I came up with a "recommended site" from yahoo, and realised the site was really going somewhere... I admit there are a lot of pictures on this site which I did not ask permission for, and I would like to apologise... if you bear in mind the site was only meant to be viewed by 4 people originally, maybe you'll cut me some slack. Please let me know if you see your pictures up, and let me know who you are, if it's OK to keep them, and your website so I can link back to you.
